ITINERARY:

Day 1: Phnom Penh – City tour
Today, the Back of Khmer History tour 11 days will be started by picking up at the airport to City on your arrival to hotel for check in. Free at leisure around and then in the afternoon, we will enjoy a half day tour for visiting National Museum of Khmer Arts, Silver Pagoda on the same ground of Royal Palace, River Front Park and renowned Wat Phnom Hill. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 2: Phnom Penh – Genocidal museum (Breakfast)
Today, after the breakfast, we will drive to visit Toul Sleng Museum, and Cheung Ek Killing field. Afternoon city orientation tour including, Phnom Penh Municipality Hall, National Library, National Bank, Independence Monument and shopping at New Central Market. Overnight Phnom Penh.

Day 3: Funan city Angkor Borei and Chiso Mountain (Breakfast)
Today, we will enjoy an excursion to Takeo Province. Upon arrival, depart by boat to Angkor Borei (Funan city-built in early 400 years BC), visit the magnificent Phnom Da Temple on the top of Phnom Da Mount, the first work of pre-Angkorian period and Museum. Continue the journey by road to Phnom Chiso. On the way back visit Ta Prohm temple and Yeah Pouv. Overnight Phnom Penh.

Day 4: Phnom Penh – Kampong Cham – Kampong Thom (Breakfast)
Today, we will enjoy an morning excursion to Kampong Cham, for visit Kuhear Moha Nokor Temple (Wat Nokor) and another stop Phnom Pros (Men-Hill) & Phnom Srey (Women- Hill) and then head to Kompong Thom. Afternoon visit amazing untouched Sambor Prei Kuk complex temples (615-650AD), group of temple which is consists of about 200 temples of the pre-Angkorian City located about 30 Km from Kampong Thom provincial town. Overnight Kampong Thom.

Day 5: Kampong Thom – Siem Reap (Breakfast)
After breakfast, we will depart for Siem Reap, stop at Kompong Kday to see the “Angkorean” bridge and then toward to Siem Reap. After check in, free at your leisure. Overnight Siem Reap.

Day 6: Siemreap – Rolous Group and Small Circuit (Breakfast)
After breakfast, we will drive to visit Rolous Group including Preah Ko, Bakong, Lo Lei. Afternoon tour to Small Circuit including Prasat Kravan (Cardamon sanctuary), Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang (Royal Bath), Ta Prohm (Jungle Temple), Takeo, Thommanon, Chau Say Tevoda. Overnight Siem Reap.

Day 7: Siemreap – Angkor Thom – Angkor Wat (Breakfast)
Today, we will enjoy the morning tour to South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King. Afternoon visit the World Seventh Wonder of Angkor Wat and view sunset at Phnom Bakheng Hill. Overnight Siem Reap.

Day 8: Siemreap – Banteay Srei and Grand Circuit (Breakfast)
Morning visit Banteay Srei (Citadel of the women) and Banteay Samre. Afternoon Grand Circuit including Pre Rup (Change the body), East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean, Preah Khan and Baksei Chamkrong. Overnight Siem Reap.

Day 9: Siemreap – Kulen Mountain and waterfall (Breakfast)
Morning full day tour to Holy mountain of Phnom Kulen visit Liga carving, a legacy of the God-kings who ruled Cambodia in the ninth century, One of the eight water sources, Sleeping Buddha, and the Waterfall of Phnom Kulen. Afternoon tour to floating village and boat trip on Tonle Sap Great Lake. Overnight Siem Reap.

Day 10: Siemreap – Khmer Empire – Koh Ker – Beng Melea (Breakfast)
Morning excursion with tour guide to visit Koh Ker temple, the remote 10th century capital of Khmer Empire  for a very brief period from the year 928 to 944 AD, located in Preah Vihea province. Left to the jungle for nearly a  millennium and  mostly un-restored; this great archaeological site has been rarely visited until very recently. Afternoon return back to Siem Reap with visit Beng Melea, the largely temple overrun by vegetation and very lightly visited by the tourists, giving it an adventurous, ‘lost temple’ feel. It was built in early 11th century by the King Suryavarman II. Overnight Siem Reap.

Day 11: Siemreap – Departure (Breakfast)
Today, after the breakfast, we will be free at leisure around for shopping or relax. Check out at noon time and then drive to the airport for taking the departure flight. End the Back of Khmer History tour 11 days tour.
