ITINERARY:

Day 01: Luang Prabang Arrival

Today, the Lao Overview 5 days tour will be started by picking up from the airport to hotel for checking in. Free at leisure and overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 02: Luang Prabang – Living Land Farm – Half Day city tour (Breakfast)

Today,we will drive to visit Living Land Farm, a working community farm aprroximately 5kms outside the town. Here we can learn all about the rice growing process and have an opportunity to participate in seasonal farm activities such as identifying viable rice seeds, ploughing with a buffalo, hand planting, weeding and harvesting rice and threshing rice seed. In the afternoon, enjoy a bicycles trip to see some of the highlights of Luang Prabang including a visit to the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts from the Royal period in Luang Prabang. Cycling on, we are seeing the city’s oldest temples, the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roof sweeping low to the ground, representing classical Lao architecture, the impressive stupa of WatVisoun and the shrine of WatAham. Finally, climbing up Mount Phousi to explore the sacred gilded stupa and to enjoy the panoramic view of the city and the sun setting over the Mekong River. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 03: Luang Prabang – Vientiane (Breakfast)

Today, we will be free at leisure around or relax at Spa. Check out at noon them and take the flight to Vientiane. Pick up to hotel for check in and then do a half day city tour with teh visit of major temples of Vientiane including the oldest, WatSisaket, with it’s thousands of miniature Buddha statues, and the former royal temple of WatPrakeo, which housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. We also visit the national icon of Laos, That Luang Stupa, stopping along the way to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 04: Vientiane City tour on bike (Breakfast)

Today, we will do the easy bike tour to visit som famous sites such WatOng Tue, WatInpeng and WatHaisok, the main shopping district and Vientiane’s Central Market, Talad Sao. Returning to the hotel your afternoon is free to relax or take in some more sights of Vientiane and enjoy the sunset over a few drinks on the riverfront. Overnight in Vientiane

Day 05: Vientiane – Departure (Breakfast)

After breakfast, we visit be free at leisure around before driving to airport for the departure flight. End the Lao Overview 5 days tour.
